Within the Assembly Rooms, Dumfries, on the afternoon of Saturday 16th September 2023, Brother Justin William Cowan was installed as Right Worshipful Master of Thistle Lodge No.62 on the roll of The Grand Lodge of Scotland. Brother Justin was installed by his Proposer, friend and former work colleague, Brother Charles Douglas Past Master. His Seconder, and Grandfather, Brother ‘Papa’ John Cowan also attended the Installation Dinner. During his time in office, Brother Justin changed his name following his marriage and is further referred to as Justin Squires-Cowan.
