Our events At Thistle Lodge No.62, are something that we cherish, along with the bond of friendship.
We look forward to welcoming visiting brethren to our mother lodge.
It is often stated that visiting is ‘the lifeblood of freemasonry’, whilst this has become cliche, it still rings true. Visits are what keep masonic lodges alive and your support is greatly appreciated.
Below, you’ll find information on upcoming meetings, and social events, all designed to strengthen our connections and share in our journey together in Freemasonry.
Our lodge room is fully accessible for Brethren who have reduced mobility.

Our regular meetings for session 2026/27 will be published shortly, please come back for updates.
Monday 7th September 2026 -7.15pm- EA – this is a step up degree and will be carried out by our RWM Elect, Bro Ian McDougall and the office bearers elect.
Saturday 19th September 2026 – Annual installation – 2pm – Installation of RWM elect, Ian Macdougall and officers bearers elect followed by meal and harmony.
Monday 5th October 2026 – 7.15pm – EA (new initiate) – Carried out by RWM Ian MacDougal and the regular office bearers of the lodge.
Monday 19th October 2026 – 7.15pm – FC (progressing candidate) – Carried out by RWM Ian MacDougall and the regular office bearers of the lodge.
Monday 2nd November 2026 – 7.15pm – MM (Progressing candidate) – Carried out by Bro Alan Jardine IPM and the Past Masters of the Lodge.
Monday 16th November 2026 – 7.15pm – FC – Delivered by a deputation from The Operative Lodge of Dumfriesshire No.140.
Monday 7th December 2026 – 7.15pm – MMM – To be carried out by Bro Michael Blain PM, Bro Robbie MacIntosh and the regular office bearers of the lodge.
Monday 21st December 2026 – 7.15pm – TBC
Monday 4th January 2026 – 7.15pm – FC -Delivered by a deputation from Lodge Dumfries Kilwinning No.53.
